There’s something in the beer. I just took a swig of Warsteiner and I swear i felt something floating at the top of the bottle go right down my throat. Should I be worried? Hmm. Rest of the bottle doesn’t taste weird. Oh Well.

Yesterday M and I went to the Lüneburger version of Oktoberfest. We walked around for a bit and then has some beer in the Bayernzelt. It was getting a little out of hand towards the end. I understand this is nothing like the Oktoberfest in Bayern, but I would be really interesting to see how my friends or family would react to something like that. Just as an impartial observer mind you. If they want to get up on the tables and sing a Schlager or two, they are more than welcome.

M and I have a standing invitation from our friend Angela to visit her in Munich during the real Oktoberfest. I’ll have to take her up on it next year. I’ve been in Germany for over 4 years and I haven’t been to Oktoberfest. For shame!
